De Alvadam Charity Groep wil graag wereldwijd (groepen) mensen verbinden met maatschappelijke initiatieven en projecten, die gericht zijn op het leveren van een bijdrage aan een duurzame samenleving, en desgewenst ondersteunen waar nodig en wenselijk. Op de homepage van Alvadam.com kunt u lezen hoe de Alvadam Charity Groep dit momenteel doet, en vanuit welke visie en missie.
Eén activiteit van de Alvadam Charity Groep is er speciaal op gericht om (vermogende) individuen, bedrijven en fondsen de mogelijkheid te bieden om een maatschappelijk project financieel te adopteren. Uiteraard is er ook de mogelijkheid om een maatschappelijk project gedeeltelijk te financieren. In dat geval zoekt de Alvadam Charity Groep naar mede-financiering, al dan niet uit eigen middelen.
Als u belangstelling heeft om een maatschappelijk project geheel of gedeeltelijk te financieren, kunt u contact met ons opnemen. Wij zullen u dan graag - strikt vertrouwelijk - over de mogelijkheden informeren. Een aantal goededoelenprojecten vindt u op International Charity (internationale goededoelenprojecten) en Dutch Charity (Nederlandse goededoelenprojecten). Als u daaruit geen keuze kunt maken, zullen wij graag uw gegevens in onze database opnemen. Wij willen immers zo goed mogelijk proberen om (uw) vraag met (het door u gewenste) aanbod te kunnen matchen. Daartoe beschikken we wereldwijd over een netwerk van honderden charitatieve NGO's.
Indien u tot (mede)financiering van een maatschappelijk project besluit, kan de dotatie worden overgemaakt op één van de bankrekeningen van de Stichting Alvadam of haar fondsen. De Stichting Alvadam is door de Nederlandse belastingdienst aangemerkt als een algemeen nut beogende instelling (ANBI), onder dossiernummer: 50.530. Om die reden is de Stichting Alvadam en haar fondsen geen schenk- en erfbelasting (voorheen schenkings- en successierecht) over schenkingen en erfenissen aan de Nederlandse fiscus verschuldigd, voor zover die zijn ontvangen in het kader van het algemeen belang. Binnen de daarvoor geldende belastingregels, zijn giften aan de Stichting Alvadam en haar fondsen dan ook aftrekbaar van de inkomsten- of vennootschapsbelasting.
Informatie over het indienen van steunaanvragen
Charitatieve NGO's (niet-gouvernementele organisaties), die geanonimiseerd een maatschappelijk project op Philanthropysupport.com willen plaatsen, kunnen in beginsel volstaan met een (elektronisch) verzoek. Naar gelang de aard van het project, zal het management van de Stichting Alvadam een steunaanvraagformulier toesturen. Na ontvangst van het ingevulde aanvraagformulier, zal het management van de Stichting Alvadam de steunaanvraag beoordelen op basis van zowel variëteit én legitimiteit van het maatschappelijk project als good governance van de maatschappelijke organisatie en sustainability van de beoogde resultaten. Voor de Stichting Alvadam is immers niet de continuďteit van primair belang, maar de legitimiteit van het maatschappelijk project. Bij honorering van het verzoek wordt het maatschappelijk project op Philanthropysupport.com geplaatst, teneinde een particulier, bedrijf of fonds bereid te vinden de steunaanvraag geheel of gedeeltelijk te financieren.
De procedure Na ontvangst van uw aanvraagformulier, sturen wij u per e-mail een ontvangstbevestiging van uw steunaanvraag. Het management van de Stichting Alvadam beoordeelt vervolgens uw steunaanvraag en stuurt u binnen dertig dagen een e-mail met een positief of negatief advies. Een positief antwoord betekent dat uw steunaanvraag geanonimiseerd op Philanthropysupport.com wordt geplaatst om een particulier, bedrijf of fonds bereid te vinden de steunaanvraag geheel of gedeeltelijk te financieren. Bij gedeeltelijke financiering kan een goededoelenfonds van de Stichting Alvadam desgewenst het resterende bedrag aanvullen, al dan niet in samenwerking met een collega- of partnerfonds. Indien een goededoelenfonds van de Stichting Alvadam besluit uit eigen middelen uw steunaanvraag gedeeltelijk te honoreren, maar dan wel uitsluitend als aanvulling op de toegezegde medefinanciering van een derde, zal het management van de Stichting Alvadam daarbij aangeven op welke wijze de geldelijke bijstand door het stichtingsfonds wordt verstrekt: in de vorm van een gift of een renteloze lening, dan wel een combinatie van een en ander.

One of the Alvadam Charity Group's activities has been specially set up to give (wealthy) individuals, companies and funds the opportunity to adopt a social project financially. Naturally there is also the option to part-finance a social project. In such cases, the Alvadam Charity Group will seek co-financing, whether or not this comes from our own funds.

We will then be happy to tell you more about the options (in the strictest confidence). A number of charitable projects can be found on International Charity and Dutch Charity. If you are unable to decide between them, we will be happy to include your details in our database. After all, we are keen to try and match up your wishes with a suitable cause or project. To this end, we have a network of hundreds of charitable NGOs worldwide.
If you decide to go ahead with financing a social project (in full or in part), the donation can be transferred to one of the bank accounts of the Stichting Alvadam (Alvadam Foundation) or its funds.
The Dutch inland revenue service (Belastingdienst) considers Stichting Alvadam to be an ‘Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling’ (‘Institution for General Benefit’, or Charity registered ANBI), under dossier number 50.530. For this reason, Stichting Alvadam and its funds does not have to pay any gift and inheritance tax on gifts and bequests to the Dutch inland revenue, as long as these have been received within the framework of public interest. And so, within the applicable taxation regulations, gifts to Stichting Alvadam and its funds in the Netherlands are deductible from income tax or corporation tax.
Information on submitting posting requests
In principle, for charitable NGOs (non-governmental organizations) wishing to post a social project anonymously on Philanthropysupport.com, a request (electronic or otherwise) is sufficient. Depending on the nature of the project, Stichting Alvadam's management will send an application form. Upon receipt of the completed application form, Stichting Alvadam's management will assess the request for support both on the basis of the variety and legitimacy of the social project and on the basis of the good governance of the social organization and sustainability of the intended results. After all, for Stichting Alvadam, the primary concern is not the continued existence of the social project but its legitimacy. In the event of the request being honoured, the social project will be posted on Philanthropysupport.com in order to find an individual, company or fund willing to finance the request for support in full or in part.
The procedure
Upon receipt of your posting request, we will e-mail you a confirmation that we have received it. Stichting Alvadam’s will then assess your posting request and will e-mail you our response (whether it is positive or negative) within thirty days. A positive response means that your request for support will be posted anonymously on Philanthropysupport.com in order to find a private individual, fund, institution or company willing to wholly or partially finance the request for support. In the event of partial financing, one of Stichting Alvadam’s charitable funds can, if desired, contribute the remaining amount, whether or not this is in cooperation with an associate or partner fund. If one of Stichting Alvadam’s charitable funds decides to use its own funds to partially grant your request, but then only on the condition that a third party promises to co-finance the remainder, then Stichting Alvadam’s management will also indicate the way in which the financial aid will be issued by the foundation fund: in the form of a gift or an interest-free loan, or a combination thereof.
